||1 of 3 people found the following review helpful.| Webb Society galaxy book|By John R. Robinson|I have had several of the Webb Society guides and they are OK. They have to much info the average astronomer does not need in my opinion. There are some good illustrations though.

This volume provides theoretical background, techniques, finding charts and field drawings necessary for observing clusters of galaxies. The introductory part of the book presents visual observations of 90 galaxies together with drawing of many. The catalog section presents and illustrates 15 Abell clusters ( containing 175 galaxies ) and 13 poor clusters ( containing 120 galaxies)
